Giving

For where your treasure, there will your heart be also.
- Matthew 6:21

St John the Divine is in one of the poorest parishes in UK. We reach out to the community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a rich tradition of worship as well as practical love, and this can mean distributing food to those in need, visiting the sick, helping victims of crime, and much more. It actually costs £1200 per week to run our church and its mission, so we really need all your support. Please think about giving in whatever way you can.

You can give:

  • in Church, in the collection plate
  • by posting a cheque
  • regularly by standing order
  • in your will

Regular giving to the Church - whatever we can afford - is part of belonging to St John's.

By post
